"Polska Chemia" Conference 2016

The third edition of "Polska Chemia" Conference was held on 15-16 June 2016 in Krakow. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the most important entities in the Polish and European chemical sectors, as well as the representatives of the public administration, including the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Treasury, Paweł Gruza.

"Chemical sector is a pride of the Polish economy", Paweł Gruza stressed during the opening session.

He added also that the achievements of the Polish chemical sector on the Polish, European and global market are the foundation for creating a strong, healthy and stable Polish economy. The economy offering jobs, promoting wealth of Polish facilities, building the position of Poland globally.

This year's "Polska Chemia" Conference was devoted to the most important aspects of the Polish chemical industry operation and development, i.e. sector perspectives against the global economy, aspects concerning new technologies, the role of distribution and transport, climate and energy policy, research and innovations, investments, compliance, support functions and personnel development.

The "Polska Chemia" Conference is a leading platform to exchange experience, present ideas and strategies for the Polish chemical sector. The success of the two previous editions of this Conference proved how important it is for the Polish chemical sector to create a platform for discussing the technological solutions used, investment processes carried out and the influence of the legal and economic environment on the sector.

The event was held under the auspices of the Minister of Treasury. The strategic partners included e.g. Azoty Group, PKN Orlen and Anwil, belonging to Orlen Group.

"Polska Chemia" Conference was organised by the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry.
