The Ministry of Treasury advises that Nafta Polska S.A. in liquidation, being in charge of the privatisation process of companies that compose the so-called 1st Chemical Group, participated in exclusive negotiations with the PCC SE investor regarding the sale of shares of ZAK S.A. and Zakłady Azotowe w Tarnowie-Mościcach S.A., held between 4 February and 22 March 2010. Negotiations concerned in particular the share price, structure of transaction and terms and conditions of share purchase agreements. On 22 March 2010, PCC SE presented to Nafta Polska S.A. in liquidation its revised stand on the transaction which will now undergo analysis. At the same time, Nafta Polska S.A. in liquidation acceded to PCC SE’s request to extend the period of exclusive negotiations concerning the terms of the transaction until 12 April 2010.
