The Minister of the State Treasury
hereby announces that the deadline for submitting written responses to the public invitation to participate in negotiations for the purchase of the shares in:
ENEA Spółka Akcyjna with its registered office in Poznań
has been extended

The Minister of the State Treasury, acting on behalf of the State Treasury, pursuant to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 17 February 2009 on the Detailed Procedure of Selling Shares Held by the State Treasury (Journal of Laws of 2009, No. 34, item 264), and in connection with the public invitation to participate in negotiations for the purchase of 225,135,940 shares with a nominal value of PLN 1 each, owned by the State Treasury and representing 51% of the share capital of Enea Spółka Akcyjna with its registered office in Poznań at ul. Nowowiejskiego 11, 60-967 Poznań, (the “Company”) (the “Public Invitation to Participate in Negotiations for the Purchase of Shares in the Company”), hereby announces that the deadline for the Potential Investors who have received the Memorandum to submit written responses to the Public Invitation to Participate in Negotiations for the Purchase of Shares in the Company has been extended until 13 August 2010 until noon Warsaw time.

As a result of the deadline extension referred to above, the following deadlines will be extended accordingly:

• until 12 August 2010 – the deadline by which the Potential Investors may express their interest in the purchase of the Disposed Shares; and
• until 24 August 2010 – the deadline by which each Potential Investor who has submitted a response to the public invitation to participate in negotiations will be informed of the decision of the Minister of the State Treasury regarding the evaluation of the submitted responses.

The remaining terms specified in the Public Invitation to Participate in Negotiations for the Purchase of Shares in the Company shall remain unchanged.

Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this announcement shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Public Invitation to Participate in Negotiations for the Purchase of Shares in the Company.
